Pick one document. The AI looks for its type and printed date or period. The suggested filename uses only those fields; it does not add a client or account name. You can add or change anything before downloading.
If it cannot identify the type confidently, it says so. A clear filename is useful, but it does not prove the document is the right one or belongs to the right client.
What the tool does and does not do

What happens to the file
DokuTrak does not put the document in document storage. The upload is scanned for malware and held in memory for the length of the request; DokuTrak does not write it to disk or add it to document storage. The AI response sent to the page includes only the document type, date fields, confidence level and a filtered non-sensitive supporting clue; it does not include OCR text or extracted personal identifiers.
Cloudflare Workers AI reads the file. It is the same AI worker DokuTrak uses for its first-pass document review. Cloudflare’s own terms govern processing by that service. Read more on our security page and privacy page.
Questions
Does the tool rename my original file automatically?
No. It suggests a filename from the document type and any clearly printed date or period. You can edit it, then download a renamed copy. The original file on your device is untouched.
Which files can I use?
One PDF, JPEG, PNG or HEIC file at a time, up to 10 MB and five PDF pages. The API checks the actual file type and scans it before AI reading.
What happens to my file?
The document is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI for reading after you agree. DokuTrak holds it in memory for the length of the request and does not write it to disk or put it in document storage. Cloudflare’s own Workers AI terms govern its processing; see the DokuTrak security page for the subprocessor information.
Does it check whether the document is correct or complete?
No. It only tries to identify a document type and a printed date or period to help name a file. It does not verify correctness, completeness, authenticity, tax treatment or legal effect.
What if the AI is not sure?
The type is left as “document” and marked unclear. You can type a name yourself. The tool does not invent a document type or a date.
What if I already have a file with that name?
The page previews the exact download name. If it is already in your downloads, edit the name before confirming. Your browser handles any remaining duplicate names according to its own settings; check the final name in your downloads folder.
