Can I white-label DokuTrak for my agency?
Custom branding (your logo, colors, domain) on the upload page is on our roadmap for late 2026. Currently, clients see a standard DokuTrak-branded upload page. The upload flow is built to be fast and clean for your client either way. If white-label is a hard requirement for your agency, email [email protected] and tell us why; we prioritize features by customer pull.
Is DokuTrak suitable for freelancers working solo?
Yes. Solo ($79/month) is built for one person, with unlimited clients and projects. If you grow into a team, the Team and Agency plans add seats.
Can my client invite their team to upload different things?
Yes. secure upload links are per-request, not per-person. Your client can forward the link to their marketing manager to upload brand assets, to their dev to upload access credentials, to their CMO to answer the brand voice questions. DokuTrak tracks who uploaded what via email capture on upload (we log the uploader's email for your audit trail).
Does DokuTrak integrate with my project management tool (Asana, ClickUp, Notion)?
Not natively yet. Integration with Asana, ClickUp, Notion, and Linear is on our 2026 roadmap — the vision is that completing a DokuTrak intake auto-creates a project in your PM tool with all the collected documents attached. Today, the workflow is: DokuTrak collects, you download the complete package, you upload into your PM tool.
What about SOW, MSA, and signed contracts?
DokuTrak is document collection, not e-signature. If your workflow is "send SOW for signature, then collect the rest", use DocuSign / Dropbox Sign / HelloSign for the signature and DokuTrak for the post-signature intake. If your SOW is already signed elsewhere, you can use DokuTrak to collect the signed copy as one item in the onboarding request. We do not plan to build e-signature — there are many excellent tools already.
How does DokuTrak compare to Content Snare or ClientPortal.io?
Content Snare is our closest competitor for agencies — they built a similar workflow focused on content collection. Be honest about price: their entry plan costs less than our $79/month and includes two users, and they ship a template library we do not. What DokuTrak adds is an optional AI first-pass check on each uploaded file, which flags a wrong, unreadable or out-of-date document at upload for you to confirm. If price or breadth decides it, Content Snare is the better fit. If catching bad files at upload is what you need, DokuTrak.
