Why we only have one plan
Most SaaS products have three or four pricing tiers. The cheap one is intentionally crippled so you upgrade. The middle one has the feature you actually need. The expensive one adds things you will never use. Pricing pages become a maze.
We picked the price that pays for running DokuTrak well, and we stopped there. No Starter tier with reminder limits. No Business tier that gates templates. No Enterprise tier with the word “custom” on it.

Pricing questions
How does the $1 14-day trial work?
You pay $1 to start. For the next 14 days, you get full access to every feature — unlimited requests, unlimited team seats, unlimited clients. At day 15, you roll into the standard $49/month unless you cancel. The $1 keeps tire-kickers out and commits you enough to actually try the product on a real workflow.
Is it really $49 for the entire firm?
Yes. Add as many team members and as many clients as you want. There is no per-seat multiplier, no contact limits, no feature gating by plan. One flat $49/month covers everything in the feature list.
Do I need to sign an annual contract?
No. DokuTrak is month-to-month. You cancel in the app with one click and you are done. No retention call, no cancellation form, no exit interview.
What happens to my documents if I cancel?
You can export every document and every request record for 30 days after cancellation. After that, everything is permanently deleted from our systems, including backups, within 90 days per our GDPR data-retention policy.
Why is it not free or $9 like some competitors?
Free and ultra-cheap document collection tools exist. They either sell your clients ads, rate-limit your requests, or abandon the SMB segment in 18 months. $49/month is the price that supports building one focused product well and keeping it alive for the next decade. We would rather charge a fair price to people who need the result than race to the bottom on features no one uses.
