Why DokuTrak exists
I am Arthur Teboul, founder of DokuTrak. I have been building B2B SaaS for seven years, most recently as co-founder of an Azure-native IT management platform. Before that, I worked alongside law firms and accounting practices building internal tools that nobody ever used.
The pattern was always the same. A lawyer or accountant would hire us to fix some vague “operations problem,” and by the end of the discovery call it would turn out the actual bottleneck was document collection. Someone on their team was always chasing clients for paperwork instead of doing billable work. The time was valuable, but it was hard to invoice, because nobody wants to charge partner rates for “just following up” emails.
Existing client portals all had the same design flaw: they required the client to create an account. The firms I watched use them complained that a large share of requested documents never arrived through the portal — clients would email attachments back instead, defeating the whole purpose.
In 2025 I started testing a different shape. What if the client never had to log in? What if the link was the entire product? What if reminders ran without manual work, validation was one click, and the whole thing cost less than the coffee budget?
The single design choice
secure upload link uploads. No client account. No password. No verification email. No “which email did I sign up with.” The client clicks and uploads.
That single choice removes the biggest source of friction in the collection workflow. Everything else in the product — automated reminders, one-click validation, reusable templates, the secure vault — compounds on that foundation. But the secure upload link is the unlock.
Who DokuTrak is for
US law firms (immigration, personal injury, real estate, family, criminal), accountants and tax preparers, financial advisors, insurance brokers, mortgage brokers, and the long tail of small professional service firms who bill by the hour and lose money every time a client does not send paperwork on time.
Not big-law enterprises. Not consumer e-signature. Not internal document management. If you are trying to collect documents from clients and the current tool is email, Dropbox, or a login-walled portal, DokuTrak is for you.
How we operate
DokuTrak is based in France. The product is English-first, built for the US market. Infrastructure runs in a Paris data center (Hostinger VPS). Storage is on Cloudflare R2 pinned to EU-West. The team is small on purpose — smaller teams with AI leverage ship better software than 50-person SaaS factories.
Pricing starts at $79/month for Solo, with Team and Agency tiers for larger firms. We would rather charge a clear price to firms who need the result than play the SaaS packaging game.
