The same three rules everywhere
DokuTrak doesn’t store your file. Whichever page you use, the file is held in memory for the length of the check and written nowhere — not to our storage, not to our logs, and no detail read off the page either.
Cloudflare Workers AI does the reading. It is the same review that runs inside DokuTrak, and the only AI vendor in the chain. Our privacy page and security page name it too.
This is not a forgery detector. It reads what the page says — the document type, the legibility, the details present — never whether the page is genuine. AI flags; the reading is still yours.
Questions
Which documents can the checker read?
Three today: a pay stub, a bank statement and a W-2. Each has its own page, because what "usable" means differs by document — a W-2 has a tax year to match, a statement has a period and an account holder. Other types are read inside DokuTrak, where the request names what it wants.
What does a check tell me?
Whether the file is the document type you expected, whether the page is legible, and whether it carries the details that type carries. It reads what the page says: it is not a forgery detector, and it never tells you whether a document is genuine.
Do you keep the files I upload?
No. DokuTrak doesn't store your file: it is held in memory for the length of the check and written nowhere — not to our storage, not to our logs, and no detail read off the page either. The page is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, our AI subprocessor, to be read; what Cloudflare retains is governed by its own Workers AI terms rather than by a promise we make on its behalf.
How many checks do I get?
